How it works
Upload the photos you love most — a clear side view and a face-on shot work best. Our photo guide walks you through it, and we'll tell you right away if we need a different angle.
The sculpting begins the moment you upload. Within minutes, you'll have a 3D draft you can turn in your hands, right on your phone — free. Then our artists refine it into the final preview you approve, and one revision is always included.
Your keepsake is precision 3D printed layer by layer in Ohio — from desk size up to life-size — then hand-finished, checked by a real person, and carefully packed. Most sizes arrive within 7–10 days of your approval; life-size pieces take a little longer, and we'll tell you exactly when to expect yours.
From their photo to your hands
Real pieces, real companions, shared with their families' permission.
Finishes
Every keepsake comes in your choice of finish — shown here on Sonny, the founder's own dog and the first keepsake we ever made.
These previews are digital renders of Sonny's actual sculpt — more companions from our first families are joining this gallery as their pieces are made. Hand-painted accents (eyes, collar, markings) can be added to any finish.
Pricing
Every piece is precision 3D printed and hand-finished in Ohio, and every size includes your 3D preview, one revision, and careful packaging. Shipping within the US is included. Finishes: Alabaster · Sandstone · Bronze · Onyx.

Our promise
We know what this piece means. That's why nothing is made until you've seen the preview and told us it's right — and why every keepsake is finished and inspected by hand before it leaves our workshop.
If the preview doesn't capture your companion after your included revision, we'll refund you in full. No forms, no friction.
If the finished piece arrives and something's not right, we'll remake it or refund it — your choice. Made with care in Ohio, checked by real people.
Why Pawmento exists
Pawmento began with my own dogs, Duke and Sonny. We lost them both within two years of each other — each of them suddenly, without the long goodbye we thought we'd get.
In the quiet that followed, I kept looking for something to hold. Something more than a photo on a phone. I've spent my career building physical products, so I did the only thing I knew to do with that much love and nowhere to put it: I made something. The first keepsake ever printed here was Sonny, sitting the way he always sat down by the pond. The second was Duke.
The little dog being printed at the top of this page? That's Sonny. Every piece we make is made the way theirs were — like it's one of ours.

From our families
"It sits where his bed used to be. The first morning I saw it in the light I cried — the ears, the way he always tilted his head. It's him."
— Placeholder · collect from first customers, with permission"I ordered it while she was still with us, from my favorite photo of her in the yard. I'm so glad I did it then. It's the most meaningful thing on our shelf."

Your keepsake is a sculpted, artistic likeness — closer to a hand-carved keepsake than a photographic replica. Families tell us it captures the character of their companion: the posture, the ears, the expression they remember. And you'll always see and approve the preview before we make anything, with one revision included.
Three photos are perfect: their whole body from the side with all four paws and tail in view, their face straight on, and one more from an angle. Natural light, down at their level, and nothing hiding their body — no blankets, laps, or car seats. Our upload guide shows examples, and if a photo won't give a good result we'll tell you right away — we'd rather ask for another photo than send you something that isn't them. Only have one photo? We'll do our very best, and you'll always see the preview before anything is made.
Your first 3D draft appears within minutes of uploading — free, before you pay anything. After you order, our artists refine the sculpt into your final preview, usually the same day. Once you approve it, crafting and shipping take 7–10 days within the US; life-size pieces take a little longer, and we'll give you an exact date. If you'd like it sooner, our front-of-the-queue option moves your piece to the top.
Each piece is precision 3D printed, layer by layer, in durable PLA polymer — the same material used for fine architectural models — right here in Ohio. Then it's sanded, hand-finished in your choice of four finishes (Alabaster, Sandstone, Bronze, or Onyx), and inspected by a real person. It's lightweight but solid, safe on any shelf, and made to last a lifetime indoors. Hand-painted accents use acrylics applied by hand.
Up close, 3D-printed pieces have a fine layered texture — part of how they're made, and honestly part of their character. We hand-finish every piece to soften it, so in your hands it reads more like carved stone than plastic. The gallery photos show exactly what to expect; we'd rather show you than oversell you.
Small (~12") matches a seated cat or small dog; Medium (~18") a seated medium dog; Large (~24") a seated large dog. For giant breeds, a full statue would be impractical to ship and to place, so we offer the XL Bust — a life-size head-and-chest portrait with a flat-cut base that sits on a shelf, hearth, or pedestal. If you're unsure which size fits your companion, send us their weight or breed and we'll recommend one.
Honestly: partly, yes. We use advanced 3D-sculpting technology to build the first model from your photos — and then real people refine it, check it, finish it by hand, and make sure it's worthy of who it's for. You approve every piece before it's made. The technology is the tool; the care is ours.
Yes — any companion. Rabbits, birds, horses, reptiles, guinea pigs. If you loved them, we'll do our best to honor them. Some animals are harder to capture from photos, so we may ask for an extra angle, and the same preview promise applies.
They're used only to create your keepsake, stored privately, and automatically deleted 90 days after delivery. We never share or sell them, and we'll never use your pet's image in our gallery without your written permission.
Yes, and many families do. Ordering while your companion is still with you often means better photos and a piece you'll treasure even longer. There's no difference in the process — just, perhaps, an easier heart while you choose the photos.
That's all it takes to begin. You'll see their sculpt take shape in minutes.
